Customers who are pregnant and flying with Lion Air must meet the following requirements:
- For the sake of flight safety and comfort, pregnant customers are obliged to notify the check-in counter staff of the condition of their pregnancy when reporting at the check-in counter
- Pregnancy 0 weeks to 28 weeks under normal conditions, customers must provide a medical recommendation from a doctor stating the passenger is fit to fly. The recommendation shall be dated within 7 days before the flight states, and customers must fill out the Statement Letter provided by Lion Air. And for Special Pregnancy Not Allowed to Fly.
- For pregnancy between 28 - 35 weeks, customers must provide a medical recommendation from a doctor stating that the passenger is fit to travel. A recommendation shall be dated within 7 days before the flight, and customers must fill out the Statement Letter provided by Lion Air. And for Special Pregnancy Not Allowed to Fly.
- Multiple pregnancies are allowed to fly only until the pregnancy age before the end of 31 weeks. Customers must provide a medical recommendation from the Doctor stating that the passenger is fit to fly. The recommendation shall be dated within 7 days before the flight. The customer is required to fill out the Statement Letter provided by Lion Air. For Special Pregnancy Not Allowed to Fly.
- Pregnancies aged over 35 weeks are not allowed to travel by air transport.
Prior to flying, customers are required to fulfill the following terms and conditions:
- Already received the third dose of vaccine (booster) Not required to show a negative result of RT-PCR or RDT-ANTIGEN.
- Just received the second dose of the vaccine & the first dose of the vaccine is NOT allowed to travel within the country.
- Due to special health conditions or comorbid diseases that prevent them from receiving vaccines, they are excluded from the vaccine requirements but must attach a Doctor's Certificate from a Government Hospital with a validity of 7 days from the issuance of the letter.
Notes:
- Pregnant passengers who don't have a medical recommendation from Doctor will be referred to the Port Health/Airports Clinic to request a qualified-to-fly certificate.
- The pregnant passenger who experiences complications and disturbances will be referred to the Port Health/Airports Clinic to request a qualified-to-fly certificate.
