Apart from the FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE (FBA) in several Lion Air Group airlines, there is also some type of things that can be checked free of charge.

That type of baggage categorize as "Special Baggage"


Special Baggage is baggage items with specific characteristics that are allowed to be carried on board the plane and inseparable from the customer (needed)


**Wheel chair: Valued customers with special needs / disabilities can use the Wheel chair until the waiting room and distribute the wheel chair in front of the aircraft door, with a baggage tag previously attached (not a wheelchair with a battery).

Report at check-in then the check-in counter officer will provide a form/statement that must be filled in by the prospective passenger.

At Check-in: 

1. Report to the check-in staff for additional wheelchair services (wheel chair). 
2. Next, the staff will escort customers with wheelchair services to the boarding room for further priority boarding to the plane earlier before other passengers get on the plane

During Boarding:
1. Wheelchairs can only be used by Lion Group passengers until they arrive at the front door of the aircraft. 
2. Next, the staff will bring the passengers into the plane according to the priority seats that have been prepared.

Effective from 01 October 2022 for departure routes from / to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and from/to Penang, Wheel Chair Service rates are as follows:
* Routes from Indonesia fare IDR.150.000
* Route to Indonesia fare RM. 46
