The regulation for trip cancellations and ticket refunds is regulated in the Minister of Transportation Regulation (PM) No. 185 of 2015 and then updated with PM No. 30/ 2021.

Based on these regulations, the Lion Air group (Lion Air, Wings Air, Batik Air, & Super Air Jet) applies the Refund Regulations as follows:

Refund Fee of 25% from the Basic Fare

Airport Tax, PPN, Iuran Wajib Jasa Raharja: refundable

72 hours - 4 hours

Refund Fee of 50% from the Basic Fare

Airport Tax, PPN, Iuran Wajib Jasa Raharja: refundable

< 4 hours

Refund Fee of 90% from the Basic Fare

Airport Tax, PPN, Iuran Wajib Jasa Raharja: refundable


For the valued customers that want to apply for a refund, please attach a supporting document for a refund in the form of:

  1. Refund to the Valued customer's Bank Account/Transfer
  1. Identity (KTP / Passport) of one of the passengers whose name is listed on the reservation.
  2. Account number (the name on the account number must match the identity attached).
  3. Power of attorney (if represented) filled out by the giver and recipient of the power of attorney containing:
  1. The name matches the identity.
  2. Photo identification (KTP/ Passport) of the giver and the recipient of the power of attorney.
  3. Authorized signature on a stamp (Materai 10.000).
  1. Certificate of not being able to fly / health documents related to flight restrictions from the Port Health Office (if required).

            2. Refund to Valued Customer Credit Card.

  1. Identity (KTP/Passport) of one of the passengers whose name is listed on the reservation .
  2. The last 4 digits of the card used for payment, and the name of the cardholder.
  3. Certificate of not being able to fly / health documents related to flight restrictions from the Port Health Office (if required).

 

Tickets are declared Expired if the validity period for submitting a refund ticket has passed 3 (three) months from the date of flight or Date Of Travel (DOT). 

If the ticket has expired, it cannot be refunded.



Tips: If it turns out that there is a change in plans / not traveling, cancel as soon as possible by requesting a refund via the link https://www.lionair.co.id/en/manage-booking/refund-request or if the previous purchase was at a Travel Agent, please contact travel agent/ online travel agent. 

Immediate cancellation of travel tickets helps Valued Customers to avoid large penalties due to the approaching time of departure and assists airlines in reselling unused seats. The closer the cancellation distance is, the more difficult it will be for the Airline to resell.
