Hi Valued Customers!

Dangerous Goods are items that may endanger the safety of an aircraft or persons on board the aircraft and can be in the form of liquid, solid or gaseous materials (Ministry of Transportation Regulation PM 90 of 2013). Dangerous Goods are also known as restricted articles, hazardous materials, and dangerous cargo.

For safety reasons. Below we provide information about dangerous objects and items that are prohibited from being carried as cabin baggage or checked baggage:

  1. Explosives include materials that trigger explosions such as detonators, all types of grenades, explosive devices
  2. Combustible or toxic Compressed Gases: propane, butane, chemical aerosols
  3. Flammable liquids: fuel, paint, thinner, glue, lighter fluid, methanol
  4. Flammable solid objects: fireworks, firecrackers, flares
  5. Oxidizing materials such as bleaching powder and peroxide
  6. Corrosive materials: mercury (found in thermometers), sulfuric acid, alkali, vehicle batteries
  7. Radioactive Material: uranium 235
  8. Chemicals or toxic substances: arsenic, cyanide, pest/insect repellent,
  9. Suitcase with installation of alarm device with Lithium battery
  10. Small vehicles with Lithium batteries such as airwheel, solo wheel, hower board, balance wheel, etc
  11. Self-defense sprays: tear gas and phosphoric acid spray
  12. Paralyzing devices: stun guns, electric shocks, electric batons, animal paralyzing devices

Classification of dangerous goods:

  1. Explosives are materials that easily explode either alone or in certain mixtures which are generally followed by fire, for example: grenades, TNT, firework, detonators for ammunition
  2. Flammable Gasses are gases that are compressed, liquefied or dissolved under pressure, for example: butane, ethane, Krypton fire extinguisher, gas cartridges.
  3. Flammable Liquids are liquids that easily ignite and burn, ethanol, gasoline, fuel, alcohol>70%
  4. Flammable Solids are oxidizing materials or items that can cause fires, for example silicon powder, sulfur, matches, fuse, potassium
  5. Oxidixing Substanches & Organic Peroxides are items that are not always flammable but generally contribute to the combustion of other materials by producing oxidizers, or substances that are sensitive to impact or friction and react with other substances, for example: calcium chlorate, oxygen generator, organic peroxide.
  6. Toxic and Infectious Substances are toxic materials or items that are easily contagious and cause infections, or materials that are thought to contain pathogens (microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi that cause disease in humans and animals), for example arsenic
  7. Radioactive is a material or item that can emit radiation spontaneously, for example uranium 235
  8. Corrosive Substance is a destructive material or item that has a tendency to corrode surrounding objects, for example battery fluid
  9. Miscellaneous Dangerous Substance is a material or other dangerous substance which, during transportation by aircraft, causes danger that is not included in other classes, for example magnetixed material, Dty Ice, Lithium Metal Batteries+
