Lion Air Group airlines provide services for customers with family or relatives who are sick and unable to sit but are required to fly.



Stretcher Passengers are passengers with physical and/or mental conditions who require a stretcher to lie down during the flight.



The following requirements are needed to carry Stretcher Passengers:

  1. General provisions of Stretcher service, as below:
    1. Documentations that need to be fulfilled:
  1. Medical Information (MEDA), filled out by the accompanying doctor.
  2. Doctor statement letter.
  3. Family statement letter.
    1. Ticket reservations/orders for Stretcher passengers are requested outside 3X24 hours before departure 
    2. For Lion Air and Batik Air aircraft, stretcher passenger buy 9 (nine) seats with the highest economy class.
    3. For Wings Air aircraft, stretcher passengers buy 6 (six) seats with the highest economy class.
    4. For companions (doctors/family) stretcher passenger buy tickets at the available class .
    5. Ticket reservations can only be served at Lion Air group representative offices and through the Lion Air Group Contact Center service at the email address: customercare@lionairgroup.com 
    6. Ambulance fee is the stretcher passenger’s responsibility.
    7. Purchase of Portable Oxygen can be served simultaneously with the purchase of stretcher passenger tickets. Terms of purchase of portable oxygen can be seen Purchase of Portable Oxygen
    8. Stretcher passengers have to be informed to bring a thin bed sheet and blanket.
  1. General provisions of Stretcher service especially flight from/to PEN, as below:
    1. Reservation has to create as roundtrip on the same aircraft registration and flight date maximum of 72 (seventy-two) hours prior to departure.
    2. Ticket and EMD Stretcher paid as a roundtrip.

    1. Reservation has to create as roundtrip on the same aircraft registration and flight date maximum of 72 (seventy-two) hours prior to departure.
    2. Ticket and EMD Stretcher paid as a roundtrip.
    3. Passengers have to arrange a “Private Hire Ambulance” at SIN with the attached identity card (IC) of the ambulance driver and tarmac clearance maximum H-1.
    4. Identity card (IC) of the ambulance driver has to be given to the Airport Police Division (APD).
    5. Passengers have to pay the Ambulift EMD that is available in the system.
