What to do if you travel with Lion Air Group and want to bring a pet?


Here are the following conditions for bringing pets using Lion Air Group :

  • Only available with Lion Air Domestic Flight
  • The pets are in good and healthy condition, not pregnant
  • Placed in the cage, leak-proof and equipped with a lock
  • Accompanied by the quarantine letter stating the pets are free from diseases and not protected animals
  • Quarantine letter valid for 1 day from the date of issue
  • The weight of the animal and cage is included in excess baggage, which is calculated per kilogram (KG) with a minimum calculation of 5 (five) KG. The rest is according to the actual weight (weight includes cage)
  • The weight of the animal and cage is not included in Free Baggage Allowance or the Prepaid Baggage.


Note:
Pets are not allowed in the cabin, pets can be transported on Lion Air's aircraft as checked baggage.
